Should a party taking amoxicillian enjoy a sever cough and a 100 level temp.?

My son is taking Amoxicillian for a slight infection in his gums prescribed by his dentist. He have taken it before and it have worked wonderfully. He has a moderate tempurature of 100.2 and a severe cough ( surrounded by my opinion). It has be going on for 2 days now. Should this lift concerns? His DR. is on vacation. Is an ER trip within my near adjectives??Should a party taking amoxicillian enjoy a sever cough and a 100 level temp.?
A temp of 100.2 is actually a low echelon temp. Most physicians don't consider anything below this to even be a fever.
Are you giving him anything for the cough? Something close to mucinex will help loosen any mucous within his chest and sinuses. YOu could also try something with some dextromothorphan to suppress the cough, especially when he is sleeping. Make sure he is getting plenty to drink. Keep him lightly dressed.
If he is self-conscious you can give some tylenol or ibuprophen. Fever contained by itself is not a bad article, it simply indicates that his immune sytem is fighting an infection.
Depends on his age. The amoxicillan won't enjoy any effect if he has a flu virus, but he'd involve it for his infection.
