Radioactive iodine - spike falling out??

Last Friday i had radioactive iodine treament for overactive thyroid. I'm getting fairly worried because my hair seem to be falling out a lot more than the usual day by day amount. Also I noticed that my gums enjoy got thinner - you can see the root of my teeth through them!
Anyone know if this is the result of the treatment- be I given too much? Is it normal hypersensitivity after radioactive iodine? How can I stop this getting worse?Radioactive iodine - spike falling out??
First of all I would suggest that you bargain to your doctor..
I have done somewhat research on line and found an artical - put the knit below and here is the quote
"Radioiodine Side Effects:
There are no immediate side effects from radioiodine treatment. Do not expect nausea, vomiting, coat loss, and allergic reactions to iodine; they do not go down. Rarely, the thyroid gland may develop a slight tenderness which may later for a day or two."
From the other sites that I hold read - there is not usually curls loss as a side effect. So with what you enjoy said regarding what you are experiencing I would contact your doctor and spawn him aware of this.
I do hope you get it sorted :-)
I've no conception but those could easily be symptoms from the radiation. u should speak to ur doctor around it to be sure.
Radiation can certainly basis hair loss & shrinking or even bleeding gums.
