Preperation H to stop the burning?

I put Preperation H all over my foot and stuck my hand contained by a fire and it didn't stop the burning. Why?Preperation H to stop the burning?
I think you get a bad tube. Go to the store and buy a unmarked one and try it again. If it still doesn't work, contact the manufacturer and complain.

Preparation H is only indicated for the "burning" consequence inflammation from hemorrhoids. Why would you put it on your hands?
