Pressing the "C" button on a calculator?

(i had a problem finding a category for this so i fixed since it has something to do next to psychological effect so i think broad health is the most appropriate)
i ruminate this is one of the stupidest question ever posted
but im purely wondering, why does almost everyone in the world press the "C" or "AC" which is the clear or adjectives clear ( i think ) button of a calculator repeatedly after a calculator up to that time going onto the next one??
i parsimonious why do they spam the clear button like as though it be a ps controller button, haha
if calculators had games within them, then it wouldnt be strange, but terribly they dont.

I don't care what category your press is in - but I can't answer it... I am guilty of repeatedly pushing the clear or adjectives clear buttons, though!
