Please aid my growth plates within my hips and put money on are still unseal but i enjoy not grown contained by give or take a few a 2 years?

Im really frustrated bcuz im the oldest im 16 my brother is 14 and he is taller than me not by much but he is taller than me My growth plates in my hip and spinal column are still open but i hear that the wrist and the knee plates are the plates that count surrounded by growth is this true please helpPlease aid my growth plates within my hips and put money on are still unseal but i enjoy not grown contained by give or take a few a 2 years?
Growth have more to do with the growth hormones, not the plates. The plates will close when you are finished growing...The growth rate for men is slower than women. A man stops growing at 21, while women stop @ 18. growth hormones promotes protein synthesis surrounded by all cell, increases fat mobilization and use of fatty acids for vivacity. Growth effects depends on the presence of thyroid hormone, insulin, & carbs. a protein called somatomrdins is produced chiefly contained by the liver & play vital role contained by growth homrmones-induced skeletal growth, but the hormone cannot cause elongation of long bones after the plates close, so that stature does not increase after puberty. Just because you're the oldest, it doesn't necessarily follow that you will be the tallest. My sister is four years younger than me, but she's also four inches taller. Quit worrying something like your height and growth plates, and concentrate on one the best person you can be, regardless of your elevation.
